Rafael Luna is an Artist that is always breaking the barriers of what could be,
An Innovator to say the least but also a stylist that appreciates all Art and Culture.
Born and raised in California. Currently resides in Northern California due to COVID-19 and the Pandemic.
He is a Alumnx from California Institute of the Arts,
A prestigious private arts university that is always on the forefront of education and for the expansion of the arts. Rafael holds degrees, Bachelors in Fine Arts (2016) with an emphasis on Jazz Performance · Music Composition · Music Technology and a Masters in Fine Arts (2018) with an emphasis on Pedagogy/Education · Audio Visual Art · Performance.
Artist Update 2021:
Currently, During the Pandemic Rafael has been exploring new ways to further his career by revamping and deconstructing his own methodologies. Besides that being an active researcher since 2018. His research consists of a wide array of topics that deal with society and culture. With this in mind, he is working to transcend the future by implementing a "new educational system" with transdisciplinarity to create holistic approaches. Rafael is also formulating a Doctoral thesis project with a creative arts platform he founded back in 2018 called, "The Raf Collective". In hopes to use this project for academic research to further his unique approach and stimulate interest in the advancement of society. He is about to release works of which represent past, present and future of tradition through musical story telling. Rafael will be embarking on brand new and fresh releases to promote his approach and voice bringing the future of a "new normal".
In the future Rafael will be establishing organizations through his scholarly research and visionary approach. Not only that but companies, groups, and movements that will heed philanthropy towards humanity, arising a new entrepreneurial focus. This will bring valuable contributions in society modeled as a business that generates on it's own without exhausting elemental resources.
